REG-Reporter clients have the advantage of participating in a dedicated user group community that discusses the software and business related issues which impact regulatory reporting. Formed in 1997, and organized and run by and for REG-Reporter users, user group events are an ideal situation for members to interact with other finance and reporting professionals from various international and domestic banks and financial institutions. Additionally, members have the unique opportunity to hear directly from local regulators who are frequently invited to present at our meetings to provide formal updates on the changing regulatory environment.
SOFGEN recognizes the benefit of considering users' opinions in shaping the future of REG-Reporter -- the needs and IT strategies expressed by our users strongly affect future releases of the product. Therefore we look to the members to provide input into future software enhancements through the user group's R&D Sub-Committee. This group is responsible for development and management of any research and development requests submitted to SOFGEN on behalf of members.
If you have any requests, please inform an Executive Council member and they will be submitted to the Sub-Committee for review. Upon formalization, your suggestion will be submitted to SOFGEN at the next scheduled R&D Sub-Committee meeting. This group meets quarterly to discuss and prioritize R&D requests submitted by members.
